The Aphasia House at the 色花堂, a unique facility\u00a0offering\u00a0\u00a0innovative therapy for individuals with aphasia \u2014 the loss of speech resulting from a stroke or other neurologic injury \u2014\u00a0will hold an Open House.<\/p>\n
The facility will open its doors for\u00a0tours\u00a0from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, April 28.<\/p>\n
The Aphasia House is located in the Research Pavilion\u00a0at 12424 Research Parkway\u00a0in the Central Florida Research Park in Orlando.<\/p>\n
The event is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n
The Open House will include a reception and presentations, beginning\u00a0at 5:30 p.m, in the\u00a0building’s main lobby. Among the invited speakers\u00a0is Nancy Helm-Estabrooks, Sc.D., a nationally known expert on aphasia.<\/p>\n
