Innovate Your Career With A Master鈥檚 Degree in Electrical Engineering

The Master of Science in Electrical Engineering provides you with a broad background in areas such as electromagnetics and optics, signal processing and systems, and micro- and nano-systems. Through your studies, you鈥檒l learn to develop and disseminate the theory and methods for the design, analysis and implementation of the principles and practices in electrical engineering.

And while electrical engineering is one of the oldest disciplines in engineering, it has considerably evolved over the years. In this program, you鈥檒l be able to contribute to the advancement of the profession specializing in a research area of your interest, from power electronics to cyber-physical systems to computer systems and very-large-scale integration design.

Upon graduation, you鈥檒l be prepared to pursue advanced studies or establish successful employment within industry, government, education and a number of other areas. You鈥檒l also be prepared to take part in professional societies, participate in training opportunities and go on to obtain professional licensure and certification in the field.

Course Overview

Project Engineering

Uncover the role of the engineer in project management with emphasis on project life cycle, quantitative and qualitative methods of cost, schedule, and performance control.

Explore techniques for innovation and presents methods for engineers to foster innovation when designing new products or systems.

Capstone investigation and analysis of topics for improving engineering enterprises in national and international competitive environments. Quantitative engineering tools/methods will be used.

  • Oversee research and development projects, including directing staff output and quality.
